Another plane another blog ;)

Yep, that's right I'm on a plane again this time on my way back to Virginia where I will spend the remaining couple of days till I go back to Germany on Sunday :O My mood is still pretty much up and down all the time :O Between having fun in Wyoming and enjoying the beautiful landscape and being homesick for Indiana as well as sad about leaving the US, so I can't even txt my friends anymore my mood jumps constantly :O

But Wyoming and the ranch ;) : We got to Jackson Hole Wyoming last week's Sunday and just on the way to the Ranch we passed through Grand Teton national park and stopped at approximately 912394912394 turnouts to be stunned by really really really awesome sights and the just vast landscape :O But then we got to the ranch and a very interesting week started ;) I really really loved to see all the amazing sights and the awesome landscape, as well as some animals (Antelope, big horn sheep, mosse, Big foot... ;)) , but riding itself really isn't my thing ;P Especially after 5 h each day you kinda get sick of it and I learned a lot about horses I never wanted to learn ;P : A Horse walking is very, very boring, a trotting one is really, really hurtful and a loping/galloping one is fun, especially the one time I got to race kinda ;)

I spent a lot of time on horseback and it was fun more or less, even though the only other kids there that were about my age were just crazy about horses so kinda weird (okay the ranch owner's daughter Piper was okay I guess but she was working all the time so no time to hang out ;)) (especially the one chick named Carolin O.o she was just plain rude and over the top SO much it wasn't even funny :O) but I had at least somebody to talk to kinda ;) Besides riding I did some other fun stuff there, including Square dancing on Tuesday night (that's some energetic dancing :O fun I guess ;)), lectures by a professor of Johns Hopkins about the “wild west “ and if it really was that wild (Okay not entirely my description of fun, but since somehow everybody was always tired from riding and nothing else was going on (including that I didn't have Internet or a good signal for a week ):) it was okay and interesting :)) as well as a Rodeo on Friday's (where Piper competed in btw and did rather good), where I learned, that even in the west in Wyoming there are some locals that dress in the cool gangbanger-bling-bling style ;)

We also had to write a “Cowboy Poem” and since mine turned out to be sooooo good (sarcasm ;P) I will put it here for your entertainment ;P

Where can I find a signal?

A Poem by Daniel Draper

Between Sheep and Horse,

There can be nothing worse,

then to find a place,

where it is the case,

that you can Txt!

But after walking 2 miles,

which didn't give me any smiles,

I finally found a place,

where it is the case,

that you can Txt!

But walking wasn't much fun,

And you couldn't go there without the sun,

so I looked for a another place,

where it is the case,

that you can Txt!

Then I found the pool,

and which is very cool,

that is a place,

where it is the case,

that you can Txt!

But enough of that,

My grandma's pat,

My grandpa's dick,

they are very cool, and to use some slang, very sick,

They took me here, thank you

and thanks to the ranchers too!

This week, I enjoyed it,

but please sit,

this was a rather funny thing,

but now I think the wrangler's should go sing,

because my poem was very nice,

and they aren't scared like little mice!

Aww yeah the signal thing is true only behind the pool I had one bar or sometimes 2 ;) But overall the week was fun and I took a lot of awesome pictures from horseback but as usual, Internet connection sucks ;P (Only thing I'm looking forward to in Germany fast Internet ;P Jk jk … ;))

But our trip was far from over, as we now went to really drive through the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park :) They are really fun and awesome and Old faithful (a famous geyser for those that don't know ;)) is pretty cool :)We stopped there the first day (Sat July 4th) and got to West Yellowstone (where our motel way) at about 6 PM. Luckily the 4th of July parade, which was big for a small city like that (nothing spectacular ofc ;)), had just started so we watched that before we went to the hotel where I finally got the connection to the world back with a signal and Internet ;) I then also went to watch the Band (quite decent) that was playing in the park next to the hotel as part of the July 4th festivities and saw the fireworks too :> It was pretty good and I had fun more or less, also then with txting all night ;). The next day we also spent in the parks and it was awesome again I really was awestruck by some of the amazing sights :O The “Grand Canyon of Yellowstone” was especially cool and the falls there, as well as the million of geysers u find all over the whole park :)

On Monday we drove all the way back to Jackson Hole and stopped at Teton Village to take a aerial Tram up the mountain (awesome view from up there, now I wanna go skiing again tho ;P). In Jackson I then got to see “Ripley's Believe it or Not” museum which was kinda creepy but fun ;) We spent the night at a very nice hotel there (finally FAST Internet, which enabled me to upload some more pictures from the last day in Indiana on Facebook :>) before we left today to catch our flight at 2 PM.

Overall the trip here was a lot of fun and I can say I visited two more states in the US and saw two more airports ;P States I have so far: Indiana, Illinois, Wyoming, Montana, Virginia, Florida, Maryland, Washington D. C. (+ Airports in Colorado (Denver), Ohio (Cincinnati) and Michigan (Detroit) ;D) So only a couple more to go ;P

I still miss Indiana a lot and as earlier said my mood fluctuates a lot, but it's getting better I guess, not really looking forward to Germany yet, no Pop and no txting ;P But as I promised my mum I will look forward to it on the plane ;D

The End
